Privacy Policy
Last updated October 16, 2026.
This is a general template written in plain English. It is not legal advice.
GROOK (grookfights.com) is operated by GregCity LLC. This page explains what we collect and why.
Signing in
You can sign in with Google or with an email and password. Sign-in is handled by Firebase Authentication, a Google service. We get your name, email address and a user ID from it. Your email is never shown publicly. Your public name is the display name you choose.
What we store
- Your profile (display name).
- Your votes, so each account gets one vote per fight.
- Comments you post and fights you propose.
- Fighter photos you upload. They stay hidden until an admin approves them.
- Sponsor inquiry form details (name, email, company, message). These are saved and emailed to grook44@hotmail.com through Brevo, an email delivery service.
This data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore and Cloud Storage), and the site is hosted on Firebase Hosting. Google may keep standard server logs, like IP addresses, to run and secure the service.
Analytics and ads
GROOK does not use analytics trackers or advertising cookies. Firebase sign-in uses your browser's storage to keep you logged in.
We don't sell your data
We never sell or rent your personal information. We only share it with the services above so the site can run, or if the law requires it.
Deleting your data
To delete your account, comments, photos or other data, email grook44@hotmail.com from the address you signed up with, and we'll take care of it.
Children
GROOK is not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them. If you think a child has signed up, email us and we'll delete the account.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. See also our Terms of Use.
